I shoot natural light almost all of the time. I am very particular about crisp, true black and white images and bold colors. I love shooting into the sun, hazy flare, rim light halos. I love a nice tight close-up of a child’s face, crisp and clear, perfectly exposed. And I equally love a broad, wide angle, that shows the where and when of your location. It all comes together to tell your story.

My sessions are a mix of lifestyle and portraits. As much as I love capturing the candidness of interaction and play, everybody needs a few portraits to classically capture the day (especially for gift prints!).

I deliver galleries that contain images that not only document your life and tell a story, but also have a level of quality that will display large scale on your walls. In short, my images look as good in print at 16X20 (or larger!) as they do on the web.

As part of our pre-session conversation, I will ask you a series of questions pertaining to your session goals. Your response and input will help us determine answers to the all important questions of “What do we wear?” and “Where do we shoot?” This is a significant investment and I want to ensure that your session is structured so that your final product really reflects your goals.

I am available for sessions in the Greater Boston Area, the North Shore of Boston, Metro-West and towns north of the city. My studio/client meeting space is located in the center of Topsfield, in the Topsfield Station Building, about 25 minutes north of Boston. If you live outside this areas, I am available for travel at an additional fee.
