I finally have a minute to relax. The house is quiet (Janey sleeping, the boys at the gym and getting haircuts). Still have some things to do (Farmer Browns, gift horse, a drink at the Fellows), but taking a moment to think about how crazy this month has been. For the first time in many, many weeks I have slept 8 hours in a row, for 2 nights in a row (this doesn’t count that I’ve gotten up with Janey and slept in her bedroom, it just means I wasn’t working at 3AM). I am so ready for Christmas. I am so ready to hang out with my family and not be panicked that someone’s card order is coming in late, or that I owe people things… and I know I still do, but I am really excited to have a reprieve from it all for a few days. I am so excited to see Christofer on Christmas morning. It’s been so much fun getting him all fired up for Santa… and it will be sad to longer dangle that over his head. But all in all, he’s been really awesome and is so deserving of the treats that will be in his stocking. Janey will have fun too, she just loves being a part of it. I picked out a nice retro toy for her that I think she is going to love! We’ll miss Alex and the boys, the Youngs, the Petersens and the Pages, but being in Belmont tomorrow with everyone else will be so nice. Can’t believe I am finally going to get to meet baby Will! So for kiddos, it will be Maisie (almost 7), Fredi (6), McKay (4), Roman (4), Christofer (3.5), Emerson (2.5), Alden (2.5), Janey (1.5), Wesley (1.5), Lauchlan (1), and Wilson (1 month!). If we added in the Sesler boys it would be pure chaos!
I have so much to blog, I am so looking forward to the next week, catching up, getting ready for next year, cleaning out my office (the petrie dish as Owen calls it). I thought I’d leave you with one of my favorite images from the fall that I never blogged… beautiful Erica and her gorgeous little baby boy Jason.
Merry Christmas.
