The blog has moved...

You've reached my old blog... In order to simplify my blog, my portfolio and my life, I combined my blog and site into one. Now you can find my "blog" entries on my Recent Work page. You can also view my portfolio, link to slideshows and client information, and locate anything else you might need all in one place.

This blog contains old session blog posts, and my failed 2011 attempt at "One Image a Day" project in which I force myself to shoot something each day, personal or professional, as a challenge to myself. I'd love to hear what you think of the images as they might slightly stray from the norm. We'll see if I can pick it up for 2012!

Under the pile of crap on my desk, but on top of all the papers on the floor.  Basically sandwiched in between mess, procrastination, overload, multitasking and a little bit of potty training.  Nice image, right?  No, really, I’m stretched a little thin (figuratively only, unfortunately), but loving every minute of it.  I am working on two amazing “commercially” projects, neither of which I think I can blog… but lots of good working coming out of them.  And I am finishing up orders for people (and a few stray galleries) that are LONG overdue.  It seriously makes me giddy that I can cross them off the list.  And at the very, very, very last minute working on some Strawberry Festival details (like finding a tent, which I think I need in like 36 hours… luckily Jen is resourceful and saving my butt once again.  did I mention that everyone needs Jen, or a Jen, in their lives?).

I digress, what  surprise.  I do have a lot to blog, like wonderful pictures from a quick getaway with the other Jen (and families).  But more important than that, I need to blog THIS.  I am so so glad that I made the trip down to see Katy and her fam.  Well, most of her fam since the girlie was sleeping.  Her little boy is TO.  DIE.  FOR.  Honestly, have you seen much cuter?  And so happy.  Really happy.  Like “I am 14 weeks old and totally okay with this total stranger carrying me around and taking pictures really close with a big lens.  I’ll just giggle.”  So glad I was able to find some coverage for the kiddos (thanks Jackie!) and zip on down.  Good times.
